General Welcome

Two cards that are very similar in their content, but customized based on the time of year or need for two different types of visitors.  Either card, our first time visitors know they are welcome.

As you walked in, we hope you found

A gentle spirit that seemed to abound

This church is only a place

Without His Spirit and His Grace

We welcome you with arms open wide

To join our family, always by your side

We promise to lift you in times of need

To be a friend and your soul to feed

May the Shepherd lead you to wherever He may

And may you hear His voice calling you this way.

Easter Welcome

A card that was sent to those who attended church for the first time as a visitor on Easter Sunday.  What a better time to make sure each visitor feels loved and welcome at our church home.

We were blessed to welcome you on Easter Sunday

To worship with us, letting God have His way

We serve a risen Savior, tis true

Not forgetting all that He went through

For me, for you, He suffered and died

Awaiting your call with arms open wide

Don’t hesitate, to return to this place

Feel His wonder, feel His grace

Jesus will heal each broken heart

Set you free, and be set apart

We are your family, when you choose us as a home

Never without a friend, never to be alone

We will love, pray and be a constant friend

Easter Bunny

If I were the Easter bunny this is what I would do

Hop, hop, hop into your arms and give some love to you

I would snuggle so closely and keep you close to my heart

So that the love would last forever, even when we are apart

Easter Lilly



Easter Lilly, so lovely and meek

Reminding me of the one I seek

So pure and beautiful to those that sees

Inside the blossom that transforms me

With His touch all things are made

The Easter Lilly, shall never fade

The journey of this one tiny seed

Changes our heart and meets our need

Don’t forget His power, His grace, for us He created really

To give us a glimpse of his beauty when He made the Easter Lilly

Easter Blessing

Inside this vessel, make me see

A glimpse of Easter and what it should mean to me

It’s easy to forget the price you paid

Your death on the cross, your life you laid

The world forgets what you have done

And focuses on the Easter egg fun

Oh Lord my heart longs for your amazing grace

To show the world, for them to see your face

Forgive us Father for they know not what they do

As troubled times come, they forget to call on you

Please make us aware of how we need you so

Fill our hearts so that you may grow

Grow inside the heart of mine

Until its you Jesus, that the world may find

Taking Flight

As I walk today and my eyes glance above

I think of you..somewhere traveling way above

How amazing it must be to see the world so small

To understand the grandness and wonder of it all

You have altered the direction of the lives you have touched

Steered their course, guided their way, given up much

You have shown in your strengths and your weaknesses too

That God in His mercy will always see us through

May you continue to find splendor in your journey along the way

And to be the pattern that helps guide others each day

You are truly a man, whose chosen to live right

So, continue in faith…and enjoy your flight!

Grandma

I’m reminded of a journey that surely seems like yesterday

When you held my hand to guide me the way.

I’m sure you were afraid of the unknown

But held to God’s promises His paths daily shown.

You taught me love, mercy and kindness too

To be faithful in all God would call me to do.

Grandma, I only pray that God would allow me to be

The kind of Grandma you have always been to me.

How sweet to know that on this day,

I’m sending some love across the way

My mind recalls the times we shared

The laughs, the tears, you always cared

I know I’m not there, but I still think of you

Valentine's Day Card - Tears From Momma

As your momma looks down from above

I know her heart is full of love

She sees your tears and knows your pain

And sends her love in the seasons rain

The drops of dew are sent from heaven so bright

As she pours her love with all her might

As you feel the droplets upon your face

Look up and smile and feel her grace

She is so happy to see the love you have found

And feels your joy from all around

She is gone and you miss her with all your heart

Life is not the same since you are apart

Let every season bring you joy, peace from above

And lavish in the droplets she sends in love.

Valentine's Day Card

Once in awhile God sends a blessing that truly touches your heart

You are that blessing to me, even when we are apart

As each day passes, I thank the Lord above

For the wonderful Husband He has sent in love

Just in case I forget to say how special you are

How you touched my life and made it better by far

Happy Valentine’s Day and know what a blessing it is to me

For us to have each other forever to be!
